چکیده

Design for disassembly using deconstructable connections facilitates recycling and reusing of building materials and, therefore, reduces waste management problems at the end service life. In this regard, a timber-concrete composite connector self-tapping screws has been developed Aalto University. presented research, an experimental investigation was performed to further evaluate effectiveness in fabricating cross-laminated timber (CLT)-concrete floors. For purpose, several CLT-concrete beams were fabricated 5-layer CLT low-shrinkage concrete. Each beam contained one row connectors represent strip full-scale floor. The vibration performance, bending properties, interface slip, failure modes, ease investigated. results compared with ones from reference group regular screws. Overall, exceptionally well by attaining 98.5% average stiffness beams. load-carrying capacity also similar but governed plate. characteristics comparable both groups. After test, disassembled. Although had exposed unproportionally large deformations under load, process successfully.

Paper presents the main principals in designing wood-lightweight concrete composite floor structures using FEM models. All design-related analyses are performed by means of the FEA COSMOS/M program. Paper emphasises some important details in FEM model design (how to choose appropriate finite elements for different types of materials, how to connect concrete slab and timber beams to work togethe...

Diaphragm Behavior of Deconstructable Composite Floor Systems

This study investigates the seismic behavior of deconstructable composite steel/concrete floor systems consisting of precast concrete planks and deconstructable clamping connections attaching the planks to the steel floor beams. The system is proposed to promote sustainable design of composite steel/concrete floor systems in steel buildings via reuse of the structural steel and concrete compone...

Structural Tests of Concrete Composite - Cross - Laminated Timber Floors Final Report

Experimental tests of a composite concrete-cross-laminated timber (CLT) floor system were conducted. The floor system was constructed with 5-ply CLT panels (6.75 in. thick) made composite with a 2.25 in. thick reinforced concrete topping slab. Four series of tests were performed using different specimen configurations and laboratory testing methods. Tests included: (1) Comparative one-way bendi...

Bending Properties of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) with a 45° Alternating Layer Configuration

Bending tests were conducted with cross laminated timber (CLT) panels made using an alternating layer arrangement. Boards of Norway spruce were used to manufacture five-layer panels on an industrial CLT production line. In total, 20 samples were tested, consisting of two CLT configurations with 10 samples of each type: transverse layers at 45° and the conventional 90° arrangement. Sample dimens...

Analytical Assessment for Comparisons of Triple-T Precast- Concrete-Timber Composite Floor using Gamma method

Concrete-timber composite floor is a construction technique combining two materials, concrete and timber, connected together using some form of interlayer shear connectors either positioned discretely or continuously along the span of the floor. The interlayer connections provide the desired composite action, where the degree of this composite action is governed by the types of connection syste...
